About
Yousef Awad paints large-scale murals with neighborhoods, inviting residents to help design and paint each wall. His work has appeared on community centers, schools, and storefronts across the Midwest.
Artist statement
A mural belongs to everyone who walks past it. I want the walls we paint together to say: we were here, we are still here.
